“I attended the Uplift 2025: Unburden retreat. During one exercise we were asked to write out everything we are feeling responsible for. After having some private time to formulate our list, I felt entirely exhausted. Then the assignment was to go through our list to see if there were things on the list that we took on because we thought we 'should' be doing it, but weren't necessarily called by God to do. I left that retreat lighter, filled with joy, and relieved with the reminder that God will empower me to do what he calls me to."
